In a press release, the agency explained it is alarmed about the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior amount read more of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The services place developed for intervention encounters a superior influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard for the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this sassa status check reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more methods to help the servicing of all clients and enhance usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
